Ari won a Student Oscar for HELICOPTER, which was called “the best short film of the year” by Film Threat, won top prizes at short-film festivals across the world, and pieces of which will be included in Alejandro Jodorowsky’s next film. His previous short film CULTURE was the inspiration for a filmmaking collective in the former Yugoslavia, which he later joined. He continues to make short films as testing ground for larger work.
